Good morning, afternoon, and evening, everyone!
I'm a rising senior and just started studying for the MCAT. I was wondering if you guys could tell me if I have a decent chance at MD schools (even though I don't have my MCAT score yet lol). Here's my profile
School: Top 30 college known for strong science
Ethnicity: Asian
Double major in Neuroscience and Biology with minor in Philosophy
cGPA: 3.4 sGPA: 3.3 (I didn't do great my first 3 semesters because I was going through some family stuff. It is a strong upward trend tho)
Extracurricular activities:
300+ hours neurophysiology lab assistant
100+ hours shadowing
200+ hours hospital volunteer
leadership position of 2 clubs for 2+ years
School ambassador/tour guide for 2+ years
I also speak 3 languages fluently if that helps lol
I plan to work as a clinical research assistant at a big hospital next year to get more clinical exposure.
What MCAT score do I have to get to have a good chance at MD schools? I understand how hard it is to get a good MCAT score. I just think getting a realistic advice on MCAT score will motivate me.
Thanks!
