How do I increase my chances of getting into an anesthesiology residency?
I got 207/86 on the step 1.I think I will do much better on the step 2 seeing that I am already in the clinical part of my course and doing well.I am at a respected Brazilian university,no usce.Should I apply directly to anesthesia or do a year of IM then apply to anesthesia,or should I complete a residency abroad and then try for residency in the states?
Also would it be easier to try to get into a program in Puerto Rico(I speak fluent Spanish)?
