My first ADT

I am thinking about doing my first ADT this summer. My first day of medical school is August 2nd. Is there anyone who did the ADT right before they started school? Is this practical? I realize that this is my last summer of freedom, but I want to do the ADT ASAP, so I can have a better understanding of the military, and meet other people that is doing the same program. I know this is still along time away, but I just need to start thinking about arrangements for my daughter, and also my move to the city my medical school is in. Any help is appreciated. 😉

Your over-zealousness makes me laugh and smile. Its nice read a thread once and awhile and NOT come across a troll. Its refreshing...but I am sure there will prolly be someone waiting to post "Dont worry the Army will knock that right out of you."

oh they have flamed me a few times in the military forum, but I just do not let it get to me. OMG yesterday i called my recruiter and he said Hi Lieutenant...I was laughing so hard, and blushing. This is crazy. OMG😍😍

Its official I AM IN THE ARMY!!! I was sworn in yesterday. Nobody came with me because the ones that support my decision had to work. I did not bring my daughter because she is 2.5 and she would not keep still. My mini celebration was me adding my Go Army bumper sticker to my car, well 2 of them so you can see it on the right and left sides. LOL. One of the recruiters said there is a strong possibility for me to do my summer training I am going to cross my fingers because i want to go so bad. I really do want to become an excellent officer, and hopefully by the time I finish medical school I would have achieved this. I know the differnt branches rag on each other, and I know with the passing of time I will too, but it is in fun because my "best military friend" is in the Marines and she is a great person. I am so happy and I will have the official celebration this weekend.
