No way! I have been waiting to hear from certain cshools... and after geting rejected from OSU / Case (my two Ohio schools) i was depressed. Then came Marquette... ASDOH......

BTW, you most likely got rejected from OSU because you applied so late - if you waited a year and applied again in June you'd be a shoe-in, so just keep that in mind if things don't work out this year or if you want to take a year off 🙂👍

Anyone mind posting that interview feedback site again? I have been searching but can't find it....It's a little early I know, but we all know how obsessive SDNers are.....🙂

This is a great moral booster for finals week! I was beginning to get depressed about all the work I had to do and all the rejections so far!

lol with those scores, i dont think it was just luck! how did you study for them? im thinking i need to retake mine since i most likely will have to reapply next cycle..i studied with just about everything i heard of..destroyer, top score, achiever...but im just not scoring high enough 🙁

Sounds like by the time they would have received your LOEs they would have already invited everybody to the Dec 6th interview, but you should set up a meeting with the advisors in February, both Sarah and Liz-Beth and very nice! It is actually a requirement to have a 're-applicant' meeting if you think you might reapply.

I may be being a bit bitter, but averages of 3.3 for 2008 entering class according to ADA handbook, the current predent average of 3.6, along with interviewing the highest GPAs won't give a 3.3 unless they accept a handful of 2.7s, nah mean?

oh sorry, you were talking about OSU. What I meant was, if you go to BU's profile right now for the accepted class, it is an average gpa of 3.6, their average last year was a 3.3 for entering class

You should maybe consider that predents isn't exactly a random sampling... you can't take predents to be a holy grail to admissions.... its just a way for us to compare ourselves with those who are in the system... there are thousands who aren't.....

Exactly. Predents and SDN are most of the top-tier psychos applying to dental schools with 4.0 and 23/23/24, haha. I think the stats on Predents are going to be well above what the real average is.
