I submitted my application on 9/1 and my first transcript was received on 9/4 but my other transcript with only like 3 classes on it wasn't received until 9/10! I had to go to the school to have my transcript mailed twice cause apparently they never mailed it the first time. Anyways I know I'm super late but at least the deadlines for the schools I applied for isn't until December 1st so maybe I can get November interviews? What do you think? I calculated my own gpas so they should be exactly the same as this
With +/-
BPC= 3.58
Science (BPCM)=3.44
CGPA=3.5

Without +/-
BPC=3.57
science (BPCM)=3.44
CGPA=3.47

I also saw that they have an academic audit section for these individual gpas
biology= 3.658
Chem=3.225 (so pissed about that I received an A- in gen chem 1 B+ in lab, B in gem chem 2, B+ in orgo1 and B in Orgo 2)
Physics = 3.35 (a B and an A-)

How much do these indivuql gpas really matter? Are my gpas decent enough to land me a November interview?

it took them about 5 weeks to verify mine and I submitted 8/1.

The answer to your question is "it depends".. Which schools did you apply to? Whats your DAT? ECs?

Regardless though, getting a predecember interview is very unlikely at this point.

You mean 5 weeks right? Lol
I'm taking my DAT in a couple of weeks but some schools said I can fax my scores to them. A lot of personal issues been in the way of being able to take it earlier. I know it's bad that I didn't take it yet.
I applied to basically all the schools on the east coast plus a few others (13 schools)
I worked as a dental assistant at a general office for 2 years, shadowed an OMFS surgeon for 50 hours (still shadowing but it was 50 at the time that I submitted the application), volunteered in Central America where we built septic tanks, gave dental hygiene education, worked in pharmacies and shadowed doctors (DDS and MD), about 100 hours volunteering in the ER between 2 hospitals, done a bone marrow drive, a total 151 volunteer hours. work in a hospital as a pca where I draw blood, take ekgs, vital signs and CNA duties, other work experience is customer service for retail and being a receptionist for a heating and plumbing business. I also do research with bats and done research dor diabetes.
Do you think I stand getting a chance on being accepted post December at all without an amazing DAT score?
Hope that can give a better insight:/

Oh and LORs I think are good because they're from people I know personally
Evolution/ research professor
Study abroad Ecology professor
Cell bio/ research professor
Dentist

Idk man its really hard to tell. You have to take your DAT first

I got verified on 9/30. Don't worry I think your GPA is good and ECs are impressive. But maybe you can try to take dat a little earlier and fax the score to the schools that you applied.
