I think a lot of ppl can agree with me when I say that I become excited the second my phone rings!!! Then.... disappointment sinks.

Or everytime I get a new email.....then it's like from Geico or herbal supplements or whatever.

I want to instruct everyone around me not to call or email me (which is impossible of course). lol

Here's to another day tomorrow. Patience.

I've actually joked with my friends (with the intent of getting the message across) about not sending me jokes, chain letters or anything short of a plea for help by email (and even then, if I felt it was something they could call or text me about, I might ignore it :meanie: ).
If they were around when you did your MCATs and secondaries, they'll understand you well enough to listen.

My family gets excited when the phone rings and caller ID says it's from my alma mater...but it's always the Alumni Association 😡 Plus, I get nervous when checking snail mail.

Hang in there guys!

I am in the same boat- i am very nervous, scared and excited all at the same time when I check my snail mail and my email. and sometimes when the phone rings.

Although I'm in the same boat, I have fun with it and send all my closer premed friends emails. it gets them quite riled up.😀

my computational complexity course is keeping me on my toes, so yea no time to really worry also because i know i am doomed

I compulsively check my UMich status page probably around 20-30 times a day. Sigh.

I agree. I have been doing the same thing since July. Even though I got accepted, I still do it out of habit. I remember when I had like 7 emails coming in the inbox, I would start getting excited, next thing I know it's FW: emails from my friends. It drove me nuts.
Hang in there, good things will happen
Good luck

Me too! I hate this process 😕 :scared:

I can't sleep.......

I've been fooled at least four times by the michigan student chat email. I think I got the most emails from Michigan. darn it. I better get in michigan for all these heart sinks!
