I was pretty happy with my PS when i submitted it.

Now going back and reading after some weeks have passed i think its god awful and embarassing as hell. Well thats my post thanks for reading.

Not an uncommon problem. What specialty are you applying to? If you look at the NRMP Program Directors' survey, you'll see that the importance of the PS varies by specialty.

Also, have you gotten any interviews with that one? If so, then it might be ok, and you're being overly critical.

Finally, you can always change it. It will update to the new one in ERAS and at the programs the next time they "refresh" their system. The only way it won't matter is if the program has either printed off your PS, or have already read it.
