Here are my thoughts:

PAT: Crack PAT is the best. Not only does it familiarize you with the DAT program, but in my case it was pretty representable of the real thing. Keyholes were slightly harder, Crack PAT doesn't really give you the kind of rugged objects the real thing does, but there were only about 3 of these extremely rugged objects. Angles were the same difficulty as crack, maybe a bit easier. TFE were on par, maybe a bit harder than Crack. Hole punches were on par. Cube counting was easier, less cube figures. Pattern foldings were not difficult. Some of the pattern foldings were dead give aways, the kinds you see in the first few Crack exams where some of the multiple choices have shapes that are just not in the original fold.

TL;DR I think i got lucky with PAT

QR: WOW this was super easy... I mean i prepared with math destroyer and all, but i cant say that it even came that much in handy. The calculator did magic, though it was laggy, didnt register if you click too fast, and also works a little bit differently than other calculators. By this i mean that if you do an operation on a normal calculator, say 1 + 1, and it gives you the answer (2). Then say you wanna do 3 x 3, if that 2 from the original calculator is still in the window, if you enter "3" then hit the "x", it'll multiply the 2 by the 3. IDK if you guys understand what im saying here but basically after every opertation make sure you hit the "c".

I had some real simple problems. I'll name a few. "What is x degrees Celsius in Fahrenheit." "Speed of light is 110,000 km/s, what is the speed in miles if x miles = 1 km" Basically, it was a compilation of the easiest math problems with only a few trig functions and geometry. IDK what i had wrong here... i had like 8 min. left over.

RC This was hard. Questions are not like Crack Reading. BUT, the articles are extremely similar. They have questions that directly relate to cause-effect statements from the passage. I did not use the SND method so i don't know how you SND guys would react. I read the passage then answered. The questions would say something like "X is better than Y because Y lacks in so and so..." The choices were (a) the first and second statement are correct and related (b) Both correct not related (c) Statement is correct, reason is false (c) Statement is false, reason is correct.

I bring to you an example of this question because there were maybe 8 of these kind of questions. I got lucky on the last passage because it was about genetic engineering, something we all know about going into this exam. The first passage was about prions, similar but not exact to the TOPSCORE one.

TL;DR dudes and dudettes it doesn't matter what RC you use. What really matters is practicing reading passages and developing a method of footnoting in your head and being able to scan passages for key words. People said Crack Reading isn't very representative, the questions may well not be but overall i'm happy with it.

Sciences I'm honestly ashamed. I studied every last detail in every complex mechanism and everything. I don't remember a single odd problem such as one that resembles Destroyer odd problems. Its a test to see whether you understand basics, and understand them well. I was surprised at how simple they were. Most surprised at my scores though. I should've spend more time with basics. 🙁

I wanted to give a shout out to Ari (GatorD). I've taken all of his practice tests (they are free now so get on them ASAP guys!) They pointed out a few things i hadn't known and didn't learn from destroyer. Theres no better way to practice than through timed software, which are his exams. So try it out, there are practice tests for every section except RC at the moment i believe. Did i mention that it was free at the moment?

So guys. I want to go to SUNY Buffalo.

Stats now: oGPA 3.41, sGPA 3.2, BCP GPA 3.65
Expected 06.13 : oGPA 3.48, sGPA 3.3, BCP GPA 3.7

I'm VP of a charity organization, have about 30 hrs of shadowing, and ill start volunteering at a hospital soon. What do you guys with some knowledge on admissions stats think of my chances??

File didnt go through. Finally uploaded now.

Don't see your stats but if its a 21 AA congrats!!!

Would you say that it would be worthwhile to run through ALL of chad's quizzes to refresh the basics before the test?

yeahhh stats are non existent! but solid job, man, you rocked it.

Damn thats embarrassing lol. How do i make uploading attachments less annoying?

I mean just make sure you are very firm on everything chad talks about. He goes over the basics, not the more unusual problems ud see in the destroyer. Knowing Chad's videos would get you a score you'd be proud of. Destroyer is for those one or two problems you MAY get on the DAT that Chad didnt have you covered for.

It's not as difficult as I expected BUT know your ****!! It's broad.

Jesus christ i hate managing these attachments... First attachment i tried to attach had my name deleted, when no matter how small i made it the thing kept telling me its not small enough....

Then i re-emailed it to myself from my phone in a smaller size and completely forgot to blot out my name.

Welp, now you guys know who i really am 😱

Thanks for pointing it out man!!!

Tony, first off congratulations on the scores! Very well done! I scored very similar to you with the same AA, a slightly higher TS, and a slightly lower PAT. Were your three reading passages about prions, fiber optics, and genetic engineering? I'm wondering if you and I took the same version of the exam!

P.S.-Side note to Ari. I have not forgotten about you, I have been very busy lately with work, school, volunteering, shadowing, and trying to get everything in order for my application come June. I promise I will still write some feedback on what materials are good for studying for the DAT and where improvements could be made! Thanks for understanding!

Those were the passages exactly. The fiber optics one was hard! Questions on the prions and fiber optics were both pretty hard too. Pat and math was super easy. I wonder if we had the same exact exam or whether they mix and match the sections. Thanks for the congrats.

Yeah the fiber optics passage still haunts me this day. I swear I read through that thing like four times and some of the questions were just...out there. But yeah overall not too hard of a test. The sciences were actually harder than I was expecting (on par with achiever in terms of difficulty of the conceptual questions. Actual questions where you had to solve a problem were more on par with Chad's quizzes and qVault) but this is most likely because I had very lofty expectations of scoring a minimum 25 in each science section.

Well anyway congrats again and good luck this cycle (to both of us)!

hey great job!!
just wondering where can i find practice test for "ari(gator D) " ? also how did you prepared or RCT?

Just message Ari, GatorD, he left a comment here a few comments above.

Sorry, what does RCT stand for? And thanks on the congrats.

Although your science scores are nothing to be ashamed of, I've been telling folks this all along!! Know a little bit about everything. People invest too much faith in the Destroyer.

Anyhow, off my little rant. Your scores are GREAT! I know it feels incredibly to be done, and although you've been a contributing member of SDN for some time now, you can now help even more. Congratulations!
