Hey everyone!

Well, from the last time I checked in, lots of changed or added to my hectic, crazy life and to my applications!

Let's start with my life!

1) I just completed my second quarter of classes with AZCOM (Osteopathic medical school) for my Graduate/Post-bac. program! Went and got my final grades today from individual professors, I got one "A" and two "B"s! I'm satisfied!

2) Saw Michael Jordan played B-ball for the first time last Friday when they played the Phoenix Suns! WHAT AN AMAZING GAME!!! MJ is an amazing player!! Every time he touched the ball, everyone just screamed and cheered!! And when he made a basket, it was like when your favorite football made a touchdown, the arena just went WILD!!! I strongly recommend to go see him play if opportunity present itself!

3) I'm currently on a job hunt for anything! I'm so damn poor right now, it's not even funny!! Living on a financial aid budget is TOUGH especially when you like to "play" like me!!!

Moving onto Dental School stuff:

1) Well, so far I only have been invited to three schools (NYU, Nova, and Temple) for interviews and one denial (Tufts). Just talk to UOP, BU, and Tufts earlier this week, they (Kristin from UOP, Samantha from BU, and Katherine & Helen from Tufts) all personally told me that they will make a final decision on my application once they receive my Winter Quarter grades (which I just finished) whether I qualify for a future interview or not!

2) I'm currently shadowing/observing two general dentists who are partners and I'm learning a lot from both of them. Everytime I observe a procedure, they will introduce me as a future dental student and kid around to the patients as to they don't understand why I would want to go into dentistry!! <img border="0" alt="[Laughy]" title="" src="graemlins/laughy.gif" /> They are major jokester!!! They sing during procedures and we play guess the artists to the radio while the patients contribute to the answers as they mumble!! It's a blast!! They both also walk me through every step of the way while we conduct the procedures. From material used, nerves numbed, position to anesthetize, oral anatomy, to interview tips/hints! I've been shadowing these two awesome dentists for about three months now! These are guys that I started to collect my teeth with.

3) I just found out today (I called yesterday) that I've been given the permission to observe/shadow two Oral Surgeons in a private practice!! I'm pumped about this, I'm honored to learn and see general procedures with my two awesome general dentists mentioned above, but I crave to see MORE blood and exotic procedures!!! I strongly believe that these two Oral Surgeons will be a great opportunity for me to learn and experience. Plus, hopefully I can start to collect my 3rd molars from these Docs!!! One of them is a Oral Surgeon/MD, maybe he can a great source for me to see how rigorous his educational path was?

Well, that's it for this past week! Until next post, please be sure to make your contribution to the STATS PAGE thread in this forum.
