This is from a Hyperlearning Science Workbook, but the question itself is more general.

I know that NADP+ has phosphate group addition to NAD+, right? And, only NAD+ is able to participate in oxidative phosphorylation. Is there any other difference that I should know though?
 
Probably nothing else. Some NAD+ is converted into NADP+.

NADPH is responsible for certain things in the immune system cells, like making free radicals which kill pathogens. But that's really more information than you need to know.

Thanks! That's very helpful. I haven't really done reviews and problems for immune system yet so hopefully that will come up later. 🙂

Just know that NADPH is used in FA synthesis, amino acid synthesis, and involved in calvin cycle. And that most of it is generated during the TCA cycle. NADH main role is to provide a lot of the H+ for oxidative phosphorylation and is generated in TCA and glycolysis.
