My curriculum is 100% PBL-based, so I'm trying to take it upon myself to prep for the cases and also learn the material that I need to for Step 1. I've heard from some older students that Najeeb's lectures are a clear, but lengthy, way to learn the material from scratch. If I were to watch and learn all of Najeeb's lectures, would I know all the M1 information I need to know for Step 1? Thanks!

Hell no, not even close. Najeeb covers about 90% of what you need to know for physiology, but that's about it.

That said, Najeeb is amazing and his stuff is definitely worth watching.

You would know most, if not all, of the relevant physiology. Najeeb doesn't teach you anything about other disciplines like path and pharm.

Boards and beyond + pathoma during the school year-you'll learn almost everything you need for Step 1 from just those two resources. It never hurts to start getting familiar with First Aid, but of course that book is only helpful once you've learned the martial. The rest will get filled in as you work through Uworld during dedicated step time. I used Najeeb for some neuro topics early first year when I needed extra help with some stuff and he was great, but honestly his lectures are just too long and not feasible to do them all during the school year. So just try B&B and pathoma and you'll be fine! Great prep for PBL too

I love his lectures but I couldn't do with the amount of time. I ended up using lecturio which is also very good but way more concise. if you can take the time than go for it. For the more time efficient check out lecturio.
