Name for clinics that serve the uninsured...

Does anyone know the correct terminology to refer to clinics that are dedicated to treating the uninsured, low income, medically underserved populations? These are the kind of places that people can show up to with a pay stub and get treated with a small copay. I am trying to write an essay and wanted to refer to these sort of 'clinics' in the most correct way.

I work for a free clinic that serves the population in question and it is called a "need based" clinic. Good luck!

Or even Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), but those refer to a specific federal program and there are non-profit clinics for low-income patients that do not qualify as FQHCs.
