What is the difference?

A sudden, irresistible urge to sleep that lasts a few minutes to half an hour during the daytime is associated with:

A. narcolepsy.

B. hypersomnia.

C. sleep apnea.

D. sleepwalking disorder.
I'm stuck between either Narcolepsy and Hypersomnia... they both seem to be involved in irresistable urge to sleep in the daytime..
Could someone elaborate the difference for me?

Thanks!

That's the impression I've gotten. Hypersomnia and narcolepsy are both characterized by excessive sleepiness. One other thing that separates the two is that the length of naps of a person with narcolepsy tend to be shorter than a person with hypersomnia.

Correct me if I'm wrong, anybody.
