Naval Reserve Pay

Hey all,
I am currently serving in the USN and looking to get out next year. I will be an O4 at that time with 6 years in. Could someone help me break down what the pay is like if I were to join the reserves? I am thinking of moving to Pitt. Will be going to residency and also curious about 2 week drill time etc. Spoke with residency director and he said that ce can could or something like that. Just trying to get an idea as most military sites are not that clear and wanted to hear from some of you fine folk.

My biggest fear would be that the Reserves would interfere with your residency. I’d want written assurances from my program director that they are good with it.

He has multiple residents in the reserves currently. I have the green light on his end.

Take the base pay for your rank/time in service. Divide by 30. Multiply by 4. This is what you get paid for a drill weekend. PM me if you'd like further info
