I was wondering if each dental clinic had its own dental lab or was there just one or two places where all the dental work is sent?

Larger clinics will have on-site dental labs.

Smaller clinics will send their cases to ADL's (Area Dental Labs) at Norfolk, San Diego, (and maybe Great Lakes). Overseas assignments have their own ADL's and sometimes they'll send cases off-base if the ADL becomes overburdened. Every clinic has their own dental lab room but it is very limited in scope.
