I have been trying to nail down information about the Navy Exodontia ACP and haven't been very successful. Can anyone share or direct me to information about this program? My understanding is that it's a one year program but can't find anything about the day to day, clinical vs didactic, etc.

I can't give you any info, but I can give an opinion on the exodontists. We had many at Great Lakes. I certainly think they are capable of extracting teeth, but most would struggle in general dentistry outside of the service. I had many ask me if I had teeth they could work on when they wanted to moonlight. IMO, if you want to extract teeth, I think a better option would be an oral surgery residency. I think it will offer many more career opportunities, have more variance in procedures, and certainly will pay better.
