I'm a senior dental student on 4 year HPSP. Just applied for a Navy GPR. I grew extremley interested in it this year after working more and more in oral surgery. I'm wondering, how selective are they in the admissions process to a GPR? I'd like to do a GPR and maybe oral surgery in the future. I have the drive, motivation, will to continue to work hard, but my grades in dental school were nowhere near the top...low rank, and B average. Board scores were an 84. I really want to do the GPR to better myself and gain more skills. So I guess I'm just wondering what are the chances? Thanks.
