NBDE 1 2010 help

Hey all,

The NBDE 1 changed from Jan 2010 with it allowing you to take it only once if you pass whatever score you got. I plan to take it in Feb 2010. Can someone please answer the foll ques for me regarding the NBDE 2010 format if anyone has already taken the exam or someone thinks they have info on it:

Did anyone feel any difference in the type of questions; as in was the test more difficult than anticipated earlier?
Did someone think there was any change in the format; as in type of questions asked?
Where did you guys mainly study from-which sources?
Any other difference anyone thought regarding the exam in 2010 versus 2009?

Any help would be highly appreciated...

hi...i jus gave my xam on 2nd jan...dis was my 2nd attempt...i personally felt d paper was easier bcause i was better prepared dis time round....i wud advice reading kaplan review, dental decks 09-10, asda papers...these 3 are realy good..i got a lot of q's frm d asda papers...n if u wan u can go thru dentessentials for a quick revision( it is a note form of kaplan review with mneumonics)

1-kaplan review book is a set of notes for each subject that focuses on NBDE exam topics that are high yield. kaplan lecture notes are also good.
2- Kaplan q bank is helpful in a sense that they dont repeat the same questions on the exam BUT they help you learn to think about answers from different angles.
3- Decks 2009 are NOT very different from 2006/07. Dont waste money one 09 ones if you are getting the 06 decks for less price.

hi thanx for d wishes...well toothfairy has explaind it all so u got ur answers....i did not go throug kaplan question bank so cant say abt dat...only thin new in decks 09 is dat dey have given testlets n dental ethics questions....

did u read from first aid nbde? what ur view abt that? do u have a soft copy of 2009 decks n willing to share those ethical n testlet questions. u can send it to me at . i would be very thankful to you.

hey...i did not read first aid so cant say nethin abt it..i solved d first aid Q n A though...it was helpful...i had tried crack d nbde for my first attempt..but din do it for my second attempt...i think its a waste of money...i did kaplan notes, decks 09-10 n asda papers for my second attempt n i jumpd frm 81(first attempt) to 87...so i realy feel that dese 3 material r good enough to evn score a 90

u wrote dat u gave part 1 for 2nd time on 2nd jan.
but according to ada no one is allowed to give part 1 from 2010 once u've passed part 1.

neone who re-registerd for d examintion bfore dec 31st 2009 was eligible to appear for the nbde again. i had registered for d exam in nov 2009 so i could write d xam again...but now i cannot rite it again...
