NBDE 1... couple of questions..

I'm getting ready to take my NBDE part 1.. There are couple of things that I'm confused about,

1. Do you have to pass every section individually or is it your total final score that matters?
2. also I read in order to pass you need to at least answer 40-50 questions right in every section.. is this true?
3. How is the test curved (based on what)?
4. What is the % of people that pass the test?

you have to pass every section,look at the requirements on programs for international students and you can easily find your answer.
the second important thing is that if you get the score of 75,then you would pass the exam but some universities require minimum 85 or above.competitiveness is another matter.there are many students apply for programs each year and only few seats available.so if a person got a higher score than you,he/she could be admitted into the school and you have to apply for another one.
