Which of the following conditions is indiacated of isovolumetric contractions of the heart ?
1-all valves are open .
2-all valves are closed
3-the aortic and pulmonary valves are open and mitral and tricuspid valves are closed
4-the aortic and pulmonary valves are closed and the mitral and tricuspid valves are open .
this is a ques from the released papers and ans given is 2 but i think it should be 3 .can someone comment 😕

Isovolumetric contraction is when all of the valves are closed and the pressure inside the ventricles are getting bigger and bigger. Understanding the name of this contraction should be helpful: Isovolumetric means that there is NO change in blood volume in the ventricle (since there are no valves open to let any change in volume occur), but contraction is occurring and pressure is increasing.

hope that helps.
