Hi everyone,

I have appeared for nbde-1 on 6th may n have not yet received my results.They generally are expected within 4 weeks...what should i do??anybody else who gave their exams in apr- may and have nt received their results please join in.

you should call ada and verify...it happened to me last year..i kept waiting till 4 weeks got over..when i called them after 4 weeks and they informed me that the score had been posted 10 days after the exam and it was returned.

I would strongly advice you to call them and verify the status of your score report

hey appu09,

thank u so much for the reply...i called them n they said they have posted the report already and if i dont receive them in a few more days i should request for another score card.Is that wat u did too??

when i called them up they just told me that the score had been returned..so they verified my postal address and mailed it again to me..i did not have to request for another report.

hey i gave on 20th may....n got my result on june 7th....i think u should call asda.

Nope this was my 2nd attempt......my first attempt was too bad 80....i was not prepared well and studied for 3 months only...which i think were not enough for me....this time i gave 5 months.....repetitions is key

Hey first of all dont be confused......BE CONFIDENT thats the way to best score,repetition is a Key and Knowledge and hard work will definitly pay back.......always remember.
I gave my exam when i was fully confident....and had always aimed for 90.

Kaplan decks,10yrs.............MUST DO.
Google,youtube,ur reference books........toppings🙂

everybody has own style of studing ......stick to ur own time table.....MUST MUST MUST

lots of congrats .i just wanted to know that how many times did u revise kaplan notes as they are huge.and from where u did anatomy?

Got my results today. I scored 88 Mostly all the section results were as expected except DA. I scored 80 in DA. Was always getting in 90's in TEST and felt the same after the exam.

congrats on gud scores .did u find the exam way tougher than asda exams as everybody else is saying or ur final score is almost similar u got on asda exams .

Yes the exam was tougher then ASDA papers. I think Physio BioChem still stands as a tough one. I got 70 Almost 20% of questions were straight from Decks. 20% were based on questions in Decks. Rest all is the knowledge gained while going through Decks First Aid. I did buy Crack the NBDE. The questions are very tough in that but that tells you whats the least you can get. My only regret is DA. I scored 95 in Crack the NBDE in that and was always confident in that. But I think may be questions or choices were made to make mistake. I cant think of any other reason? Thanks a ton.actually no clue how many times? Definitely 5-6 time or may be more.....i tell u it all about revisions.....Decks are the best for Anatomy,follow kaplan and i liked Inderbir Singh for BV and Nerves....Histology is best in Kaplan.

is it possible to get a high score from the first attempt?
and how can you know you are ready to the exam is someone can help?

Yes it is very much possible to score well in your first go . Take exams like ASDA exams, Kaplan questions once you are getting above 85 on the exam than you are just ready to go .Do not be threatened by those who are giving exams twice or thrice and scoring above 90 .Another thing is you are the best judge .Go for it and god will bless you

Ofcourse it is possible to score 90 n above in ur 1st attempt, i am a living example.
do ur best, solve as many papers n questions as possible n revise, revise, revise( as many times as possible).
n like happy2010 said once u r confident, n start scoring 85 n above in all ur ASDA papers u r prepared for the exam.

Yes ASDA papers is not useful But its VERYYYYYYYYYYY useful ,,its a must !!! they come in exam in about 20/30 % + u train ur self as if ur takin an exam..Well u can find em on ASDA Website ,just google it,, or ebay ..and others...

Hey I am new to this thread. Its wonderfull to see so many people sailing on the same boat. I have my exam on july 22. Can you tell me how the exam was, topics concentrated,Did you have any repeats from Asda or was the exam similar to ASDA papers.

Last one released is 1 N in 2009, though its also a 200 Qn paper it is a released exam, by last 10 years i guess everyone means that concentrate on around '1996 and up' papers, coz they are so many starting from 1977 . its upto you if you have the time go through the older ones too, they never'll cause any harm, its just that if you have a choice to leave any, then you can leave the 70's and 80's exams and concentrate on ones released after that.BTW 1 M is 2005 compilation. There are certain unreleased exams,1998,2000,2002 too i don't know whats their source but their usefulness is debatable.

is the i- m series just 100 questions only? it says on asda that they're 200! but the two sources i have checked have only 100 of em????

Hey Doc,

I am giving exam on july 22.I am finding the I-K( 1998) very difficult. How did you find it. Does it mean that I should'nt give my exams on july 22.Kindly advice me on how to improve.

Hey All,

I have a doubt. Please clear it.I am giving my exams on july 22 for the second time, My first attempt was last september. Now will my percentile be considered among the second attempt candidates or including all under the same roof? Please clear it. Its making me tense.

Hi,

The ADA does not consider if it is your first attempt or second.They award your percentile on how you performed on that particular exam compared to the candidates who took the exam around the same time.

Ur reply really made me smile. Thanks. But are you sure on this fact that all students whether first attempt or second or third will be considered together without segregating.
