Hi ,

I am confused about this. The NBDE 1 candidate guide says that we have to wait for 12 months if we attempt thrice and fail all the three times. One of my friends told me that he called the JCNDE and they said that we have to wait for 12 months if we just attempt three times. Pass or fail doesn't matter. Only the attempts count. Can anyone please clarify me on this?

to the best of my information , it's only if you fail all three times.

otherwise 90 days between the exams.

you have to wait for 3 months before retaking NBDE I/II.
whether you pass or fail is not considered,
you can't make 2 consecutive attempts less than 3 months apart.
hope this helps.
