Hi,
I dont think either, but I read somewhere that the TM ligament prevents the disc & condyle from slipping during mandibular movements. Pls correct me if I'm wrong

(1) what muscle or ligament prevents articular disc from being dislocated?

(2) posterior sensation of arm is innervated by?

1) the superior head of the lateral pterygoid muscle
and also the collateral ligaments of the TMJ

2) radial nerve
was thinking if it's the temperomandibular ligament initially but not exactly.

Temporomandibular ligament is a
thickening of the lateral portion of the capsule which functions as a check
ligament to prevent dislocation. It limits downward and posterior
distraction of the joint.
