Have you guys heard anything?

How unprofessional! If I tried to pull this crap in school or with patients I'd get ripped a new one!

Subject: Comprehensive Part I National Board Dental Examination

We realize that there is some anxiety among student candidates regarding the content and format of the new comprehensive Part I examination and that it is important to make this new version of Part I available to them as soon as possible in 2007. However, because of some technical difficulties, the Comprehensive Part I National Board examination will not be available before February 5, 2007. Partial Part I re-examinations will continue to be available throughout January 2007, however. The computer test delivery vendor, Prometric, will contact those student candidates who have been assigned to test in January in order to reschedule them.

We want to apologize in advance for any inconvenience that this delay in testing may cause, and we greatly appreciate your patience. If you should have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at your convenience.

I have scheduled the exam for January 13th too. After I read your post, I made a call to ADA and they told me: NBDE PART I is blacked uot during January.
I cannot believe it. I must travel to Argentina ( my native country) January 15th....... 🙁

i havnt received any info via email or phone from either prometric or ada. is this information right. im giving my exam next week!!!!

I got an email saying that the test is on, but it will be the old style.

hi everybody
i'm new in this forum. i want to share my problem....
alot of mess created by prometric centre, as i'm trying to take my ndbe 1 from december .but they are keeping postpone it from mid dec. to mid jan. and now to mid feb.......its very hurting. just 5-6 days before test they send me message to postpone it.i'm really disturbed now.
i have talked to ADA people ...they said its problem with prometric centre.
Is anybody in same boat?
PLZ...guide me what shd. i do?

hey i called ADA today and they have actually scratched the part 1 exam for the entire month of JAN. also i got an email from prometric..they had rescheduled my exam on their own on a different date...😕 so i called them up and they said that...they not conducting any exams in the month of jan..however thoes who have to retake the partial test they can do so. So i guess all thoes who taking the partial exam can sit for it in Jan

It will be the old version until Feb 5th. Those who are already registered can still take the test. I think that next week anyone can register for anytime as the blackout of test dates will be lifted, but you will be taking the old exam.

I got this email today:

The blackout will be lifted sometime in the middle of next week. You will then be able to call Prometric at 800-688-5804 to schedule in January. Please spread the word to your classmates.

Hi all,

I called to reschedule my exam yesterday, so just to clarify, I think you have to have been registered to take the exam in January to be able to take the old exam. I made the mistake of rescheduling my exam in late December to March, and now that I want to take it in January, I'm not able to...sucks.

Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong...

Thanks!!! Everything is booked already (or they haven't lifted the block)! I scheduled for Jan 25th, hopefully I can change it to the weekend if I keep trying...

Sorry to keep bringing the subject up, but has anyone been able to schedule from Jan 27-Feb 3?? I have the feeling that those dates are still blocked b/c I've searched the most random places on prometric.com for those dates, and there's no availability. I would loveee the option of taking it on the 3rd...
