I have seen some old posts that getting ~70% correct on ADEA released paper will put you on the safe side of passing....

but those posts were from 2012 or before that. And to my knowledge, the boards got harder since then.

I was getting ~70% on I-L, 75% on M, 80% on N (ALL raw scores).

But M was a repeat of L, and N had no clinical scenario questions - so I don't see them as accurate representation.

So would getting par 70% on the NBDE released tests be okay for the 2015 NBDE part I?

Thank you in advance.

No, I don't believe its adequate to be 100% sure you'll pass. It will help you by ensuring you know the basic stuff, but I believe you should practice with the dental deck testlets and kaplan testlets. I was getting 90% on the released papers, 7--80% on the testlets and I still don't know if I passed. I'll let you know once I get my scores hopefully this week. Good luck

I think i was getting around 50% of the questions on the asda papers which i believe equated to the 75 you needed to pass. Did not study the testlets although am not even sure the testlets on the decks would have helped. I studied 2 1/2 weeks-ish and took it in December thought i failed but I passed so i think you are probably good.
