    Hi all,
I just wanted to tell everyone wot i have gone through with this NBDE part1 exam.
My score in Part 1 is 94 i gave it in dec 2008:)
    Anat - 86
    Micro path - 86
    Bio Phy - 85
    DADH - 89

I am not sure if everyone believes this or not bcoz i use to think it is impossible to score above 90 unless until ur extraordinary......

This was not my first attempt....
I got the score in 80's and struggled very hard later and got this score now.
It is difficult but not impossible to score above 90
I am an average student but tried very hard to get this score
So u don't need to be extraordinary but u need to work hard.

    Hi Sanguine,
    Congratulations!.
I have just started to study for NDBE part 1.I don't have strong backgrounds.I mean I have forgotten most of what I learned at university.I was a very average student at university.Considering such a background, and providing that I would be committed to try very hard, how long do you think will last for me to be as successful as you?:)
look forward to receiving your response. Thanks in advance.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! :luck:Hope the best for you in the coming years!:luck:

    i took my nbd part 1 in 2007 and i scored 86.
i just want to know if i should apply to any school for admission or retake the exam.
i have heard recent changes in part 1 have made the exam very tough.

There are many questions posted in SDN- like the questions they do not know n asking for answers ... all those are remembered questions
In orkut also there is a NBDE forum where u find many questions
Try to find answers to those queations they r really helpful

Dont be dissopinted..... u still have a chance to score good n apply this year.......
Start studying as soon as possible before u forget wot u read for the exam last time
Find a study partner that is really helpful
Study thoroughly and do as many questions as possible, Q are more important than the theory
While doing the questions which ever u go wrong go back and read the theory related to it and keep revising u will be able to get a good score.
    All the best

Some concepts were asked in deep but not everything in deep.......
Try to see the questions and which ever topic they are focusing more try to read those topics in detail .......................
Try to revise anatomy often that will be very useful

    Hello Sanguine,

First of all thank you for sharing your experience online. so many people have been blessed and encourged by your inspirational story.

Can you please share concerning the following; When you were studying for the exams, were you a fulltime student or were you working at the same time? I used to sit in the library for 8 straight hours but then realised this is not right, we need to be balanced..also was this your second attempt when you passed?

How long was your preparation time recommended, I know studying is individual in nature, but if you can give us some idea at least we will know how to proceed.
