can somebody pls answer the foll questions, my exam is due in a week's time now.?
which of the foll statements describes an example of innate immunity?
A. an allergic reaction to insect venom
B. the classical pathway of complement
C. the destruction of virus infeted cells by T-killer cells
D. the production of IgG in response to insect venom
E. the alternative pathway of complement

question 2.
injury to the accessory nerve in the posterior triangle will paralyze what muscle?
trapezius or sternomastoid?
why?
question 3.
proper inclination for the palatal root of maxillary second molar is ?
distal & lingual or
distal & facial?
it cannot be vertical or mesial i suppose so those options are eliminated

question 4.
what muscle moves the condlyes in their most supero anterior position in closure?
is it medial pterygoid & masseter?
these were the only group of mus which closes the mandible , rest were either combining opening mus????
pls reply soon,
thnx,

#1 I would say its E - the alternative pathway does not need an antibody and that is what innate immunity is - immunity not aquired through contact with antige

#2 the trapezius is part of the triangle the SCM is not - that is what they ask u (both are innervated by CN XI)

#3 Distal & Facial

#hard Q but, b careful the temporal is also a closer, I would say the masseter but I not sure with that one

hope that helped u good luck, let me know if u disagree with me
