Hello. I've heard that the new NBDE I scoring is such that they're giving more points for answering the harder questions correctly than giving every question equal weight. As a result, not many people are scoring as well.
People are contacting ADA to ask them to re-calibrate the scoring system for the national board part I so that people who are taking exam now will be fairly compared to those who had taken the exam prior to the new format of part I exam.
Here's what I know:
1) They're (ADA) working to recalibrate the scoring system by the end of Sept/early Oct
2) They're not going to retrospectively give "higher" scores to those have taken exam from Jan-Sep 2007.
