Hello, I just finished the 153 released items on the practice test from the USMLE website and I got a 127/153 or about an 83% overall. What score does that correlate to on the real thing? I cannot find anything anywhere.....
Thanks

Back in the day when I took it (2004), the released items were notoriously easier than the "pay for" assessments or the actual exam. With that said, I recall getting an 82% on it and scored a 246 on step 1. Pay for the NBME assesment if you want something to "correlate to", but it still won't mean much in the end other than telling you if you will or won't pass.

The free questions are easier than the NBMEs or the real thing. Not way easier but easier nonetheless.

They are more of a "this is the format" type thing. I doubt there's much correlation with actual scores.

If you want to know where you stand pay $40 and take an NBME.
