Hello,

I took my Step I in mid-June and I received this NBME survey in the mail that asks a bunch of questions about the content of the exam, quality of questions, etc.

Has anyone else received this survey? I am very neurotic, and I think it means I failed. 😕

my roomate got the survey, i'm certain he didnt fail since he was getting like 235-245 translated scores on his nmbe tests and 75% on qbank.

There was a huge uproar about this survey thing last year. People that got >250 received surveys ------ it doesn't mean you failed ---------- they're mailed randomly. BOL to you.

Can you clarify?? So are the surveys randomly sent out to those that made above 250?? B/c the people I know that received surveys did in fact score above 250 on their NBME's. Thanks

I, too, got the survey, and I, too, thought it was ridiculous of them to send out an 8.5x11 envelope while we are all awaiting our scores. I guess that way they know people will open it!

Having received a survey, I obviously wish the 250 thing were true, but it makes no sense to me why they would only want feedback from the folks who did very well, so I am rather dubious about whether that's true.

I got the survey too and I only scored 232. So obviously the >250 thing does not hold true, nor does the failing theory.
