Hi,
I am 2 weeks into my OB rotation and just reading blue prints for the shelf exam (in 10 days). Is this adequate? I asked my preceptor and he thought it would be.
Thx!

I think it's a little light, I would do some questions, be it uwise or uworld.

i preferred case files by lange for ob/gyn to blueprint.

easier to read and it covered the major topics in enough depth. thats all i read and i was scored the high 500's

good luck

Thanks for the responses. How much OMM is on these exams? Kinda' feels strange because I haven't seen OMM treatments in the hospital. But, COMAT from NBOME has some OMM.

Also, does anyone know how to get a hold of old shelf exams?

I think blueprints is really good for OBGyn but as others have mentioned, it is a little light on its own.

My study materials included blueprints (went through 1x), case files (2x), pretest (0.5x), and some UptoDate research on various Gyn surgeries. Good for 98th percentile.

I think Blueprints is adequate. If you're subscribed to UW, their OB/Gyn section should also be adequate. If not, then Case Files or Pretest will do.
