This might come off wrong or in a weird way, but I need some help on something.

Im filling out the online application right now for the DAT since I want to take it in April.

The page comes up that asks:
SELECT SCHOOLS
spacer_gray.gif

Dental schools to receive official reports of your test scores (the first five schools selected are included in the basic application fee. For each school beyond the first five selected, there is an additional $25 fee per school.)

Now, this might sound stupid... But I don't have a "dream school" that I want to go to. This is basically due to me not having the "hottest" grades, so I don't want to be too picky and choosy. Most schools are the same, it is up to the student to put in the effort and learn the material. I am a California resident, so I'm assuming it is easier to get into CA schools, correct? I was thinking NYU, Nova, BU and Tufts are some other good choices (perhaps a little "easier" to get into). Im not trying to take an easy route out, I just dont have the best grades to back it up.

Thanks for all the help and advice. You can PM me if you would like to instead of posting here.

by the way, can i add more schools to the list later (after the DAT application has been completed?) thanks

I don't know much about "easy" schools to get into, but, you can send your scores to other schools later. The first (I think) five choices are "free" and included in the DAT fee.

I guess you already knew the last part of my post. Sorry, I did not read the OP carefully enough.

yep, first 5 are free, rest are $25 a pop.. i selected about 11 so far..

Getting an interview at BU or Tufts is a challenging feat. They received 4000+ applicants. Apply to your state schools, USC, and you're on the right track- a lot of individuals will turn down expensive, private schools for their cheaper, state school. What's your GPA? Also, I recommend looking at www.predents.com or getting an ADEA official guide book.
