Ok, so 10 days to go, done about 1000 UW questions.

My question is, should I keep doing 200UW q's per day this week and try and attempt to finish UW.

OR

Continue to just memorize FA and nothing else.

I would rather memorize FA since I don't feel like I have it down cold with all my annotations, but UW is the bomb and I would hate to not be able to finish it.

Is it even worth skimming RR at all this week?

Any recommendations for the last week? Thanks.

Both-100 Q's/day=4 hrs. 8 hrs FA review.

Have you gone through FA at least once? That's the best thing for the amount of time you had. I went through FA once with 8 days left. And then proceeded to go through all the sections again at least once more before the test and refresh my memory. Try to do 4 chapters a day quickly and then throw in some questions from UW. 200 questions a day should take no more than a few hours. Wake up at 8, do some questions till noon or so, and then hit the FA hard.

I personally did not do UW and used Qbank, but from what I saw, just read the last summary sentence in the explanations and you are good. I only finished 55-60% of Qbank and finished 1 NBME, and I did fine on the actual exam. Sometimes the information on those question banks is above and beyond what you need for boards. FA hits the big topics and perfect for cramming. I would stick with FA. If I had to do it all over, I would've done FA 3 times at least.

Agree. Although if you find yourself not accomplishing as much as you wish with FA, I would forgo some of the UW in favor of doing FA because FA is sooooooo high yield and you definitely need to get through it.

Read FA in depth + basic path chapters of RR/BRS Path + memorize details that you have neglected to this point (eg cardiac pharm or reproductive pharm).

Then I would do questions PRN, but stop 1-2 days before the test. Don't focus on minor details of any question bank. Also get sleep as much as possible in the last week, as energy is a factor in the exam.

Good luck!

I say do 50-100 questions per day and spend the rest reviewing FA. Questions are great, but you have to give yourself time to review FA, especially if the questions reveal some serious weak points. You should use whatever basic resources you've been using to go over those weak areas -- RR, BRS Path and Phys, whatever. Don't look at a new book at this point, and don't go back to highly detailed resources like textbooks unless you absolutely must.

200 questions per day is 4 hours of questions plus 4+ hours of reviewing explanations if you do it properly -- that's too much for the last 10 days in my opinion. It has the potential to just leave you scared (especially if your %'s aren't very high) and confused. Also, especially at this point, if you aren't going to look at the explanations, there's no point in doing a bunch of questions. Unless you are perfect and just want to confirm how perfect you are. 🙄

Good luck to you! You're in the home stretch! 👍
