Hi,

I need advice, I have interviews scheduled with Bryn Mawr's Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Program (the same day as someone else on this group, in just a couple days, so would need advice by tomorrow night 😉 and with Rutgers Post-Bac Pre-Med Program the week after next. I could really use some advice for the interview, especially with Bryn Mawr. And I'd also love to hear from people who interviewed with or attended/are attending those schools and get your thoughts about the programs - whether you like them, what you might dislike about them, etc. But right now, the most urgent thing for me is advice for the interview, especially the one with Bryn Mawr, which is higher on my list of places I want to go to. Does anyone know how soon after the interview Bryn Mawr tells someone they are admitted? My email is [email protected] and if you email me, I can give you my phone number if you prefer to give advice over the phone - I would truly be grateful for any advice on the interview.

Thank you

Sincerely,
Beth

I think I might have replied on another thread. I did the BM postbac program and was very happy with it. My interview was fine. You'll be with a group of interviewees for an information session first. Then you'll meet students, tour, and eat lunch. Then you have interviews in the afternoon. Have some thoughts ready for why you want to be a physician, why you want to practice medicine. If there are any obvious holes in your application (bad grades, test scores, etc), be ready to address that. Try to relax and don't put too much pressure on yourself.

The med school application process is far more stressful than the postbac application process. So save your energy.
