So I am currently at a Community College with a 3.0 GPA and I think I am hitting that point of feeling like a failure.

I am a Bio major, I passed Gen Chem with a C, currently in my 2nd semester of Chem and most likely I will receive yet another C. People tell me not to compare myself to others, but I see everyone passing like nothing! Maybe it is because I don't study enough? I still have my transfer ahead of me as well.

I really want to go to Med School and it has been a dream of mine since I was a child. I do volunteer work at a Hospital in the ED and want to become an EMT for the practice and experience. Anyways, I know these Cs will affect me a lot, should I retake them and probably get a tutor to help me out? I just need help/advice cause I feel like there is no way I can follow my dream. Will I be able to probably retake these classes and shoot for a higher grade? What do you guys think? Please help

If you're getting Cs you're either not studying enough or not studying properly. Some people need to study more than others. I don't think a tutor would help your underlying problems. You won't have a tutor in medical school.

I honestly don't know much about retaking classes or grade replacement except that DO schools have more forgiving policies on grade replacement. Someone else can tell you more about that.

What other classes are you taking? Are you also working? Do you have other responsibilities? If your community college has resources, find out if you have a learning disability. Maybe they will let you take tests for a longer period of time, or come up with other ways to accommodate you. Maybe you need counseling on how to study and how to manage your time.

Don't let a few a Cs discourage you from your dream. Get through the classes, then ace higher level science courses at a four year university to show you can hack med school.

But I'd strongly suggest figuring out why you're not acing your classes NOW before continuing.

I have no disabilities, I get a check up with my doctor once in a while. I do work and maybe I should try putting in less hours since money is not a big issue for me it is only to save for my transfer as of now.
I really appreciate your advice. I think my school lets you retake classes and replace them for a better one. I will look into that more!

First law of holes: "if you find yourself in a hole, stop digging".

Until you can find assistance in both figuring out what are the issues and in getting help overcoming them, you should stop taking classes. If that mean stopping school or moving to part time you do it. Retaking classes is not the first step I advise to students and can be detrimental in the long run.
I heard of a great counselor at my college and I think it would be best if I talk to her about my issues. Thank you so much for your help!
