Need advice for Phlebotomy training

Is the training doable before taking Anatomy or is it a requirement ?

Also is the program easy enough to complete during school or should I take it this summer ?

I didn't know how to draw blood or insert an IV until the first day of my internship. A heroin addict patient in the hospital showed me several tricks on how to find veins. After a while, it becomes much easier.

I didn't realize that phlebotomy training was now required for new med students. Its a skill that requires upkeep. So keep practicing.
