Hello all.

I have just received a call from NSU and I am invited for an interview in two weeks. Any feedback or pointers you can give I will greatly appreciate it. Also I have checked the interview feedback site and it is a great help. But I am curious, interviewers can be one on one OR three interviews at the same time--correct me if I'm wrong?

Any helpful tips and pointers will be greatly appreciated--this is my first interview!! Thanks a bunch.

The interview format is usually one interview with you and 3 interviewers. They are usually pretty laid back. Know your personal statement inside out, a few things about osteopathic medicine (like who founded it), and a little bit about why you are applying to NSU specifically. Good luck.

During my interview in was me, a D.O., and a health professional. They asked me questions about my app, grades, MCAT, strengths/weaknesses, 10-year question,..yada yada yada. I second the previous post in know WHY NSU. Besides that be confident and honest, no matter how bad you think your doing or did, it isnt that bad... believe me. Enjoy, I had a great experience.

GOOD LUCK!!

I had 3 interviewers, and I'm pretty sure everyone else who interviewed on the same day also had 3 interviewers. They played "good guy and bad guy" with me. Luckily only one was the "bad guy", but even so, he wasn't really mean, just cold. Just try to relax and be yourself.

I had a great interview team at NSU, three female physicians/professors. The best advice I received was be yourself and relax. Don't let your nerves get the best of you and you'll be fine. On my interview day half the students went on a tour while the second half interviewed. I went on the tour first so it gave me time to unwind.

Good luck and enjoy!

I Interviewed at NSU and it was two on one. On the day that I was there it was either three or two interviewers per applicant. I got accpeted so I guess everything went okay, but I thought that the interview was somewhat difficult. I was not very comfortable with one of the two interviewers, and I thought they had some difficult questions.

If you have some specific questions or want to know more, PM me....I'll answer you to the best of my ability if you are truely interested.

hello again.
any of you applied to allopathic schools and if so, where u asked why you also applied there? I applied to both allo and osteo and my main reason is to increase my chances of getting into a medical school

...I didn't apply to both, but I would have a good answer about why you want to do Osteopathic Medicine, and once again (see PM), why you would pick their school if accepted.
