I understand that there’s a rule against recycling content from your primary, but what if you’re building on experiences? For example, if a secondary asks me about my exposure to osteopathic medicine, I have to discuss an experience or two from the primary.

How do people normally handle this?

Thanks!

Ideally, you are showing with stories instead of telling. In the primaries, there is only really room for one good story per experience. I just used a different story when writing secondaries and talking about the same activity. The key is that it needs to be fresh and will contribute to your narrative.

That makes a lot more sense, thank you!
