HI. Can someone please help me out here...

I will be starting my senior year this September...,, Currently my GPA is 3.0.
I really wanted to do MPH (master in public health) but then now i decided i should also give a shot at for the Podiatric med school...So if i will get in then i can also do the MPH with it...But the problem is that i didn't take the MCAT.....However my advisor told me that there is one school that takes the GRE or Mcat so she told me to take the GRE and then apply to Temple University ..I am really not a good test taker..So if someone can tell me how much do i need for GRE And when should i take it...
...if you can tell me from lowest to highest?? And when should i apply? Please help me here.....i really need someone who can guide me ...

Also i am thinking of shadowing a doctor .i am gonna give them a call tomorrow..if he will let me shadow

Thankss

- Sounds like you don't know exactly if you are sure about applying. I don't see why you are hesitant to take the MCAT. That will show you are more serious of an applicant because you can apply to all schools with an MCAT and only to one with GRE.
- Real Life Example: One of my friends got denied to the only Dental school he applied to. One of the reasons for his rejection by the adcom was, "We didn't feel you were truly interested in the profession because you only applied to one school, which shows us you only want to be a dentist if you get in to our school".
- Also hate to break the bad news, but the boards are Standardized exams, so if you are not a good "test" taker.. This road is going to be a long and hard one for you...

Did you double check to see if Temple only takes GRE in special circumstances or it doesn't matter? I know the MCAT seems scary, but maybe a Kaplan course and see how you do... That way you could potentially have more doors open if you get in the low 20s.

NYCPM has a concurrent program integrated with the four year DPM degree. I have heard that Temple's program has an extra year added after your second year of Pod?

Just take the MCAT

I agree with the others. Take the mcat and you will not be limited in case you don't get into temple.
