Hi SDN,
I'm desperately looking for any advice on my med school list.

cGPA: 3.0
sGPA: 3.0
SMP GPA: 4.0
MCAT (new): 509 -> 518
ORM from California :(
Worked full-time as a scribe for 1 year
~600 clinical volunteer hours
~100 shadowing hours
Plenty of lab and clinical research with 1 co-author on published research paper
Genuinely want to work in an underserved population, and my application is centered around that

I only got 1 II from Keck last cycle -> post-WL rejection. I applied early and had a 2-week minimum turnaround on secondaries, so I'm thinking I was shooting too high with my school list.

UCLA (David Geffen)
USC (Keck)
UC San Francisco
UC San Diego
UC Davis
UC Irvine
UC Riverside
Loma Linda
Kaiser Permanente
UCLA/Drew
Temple (Lewis Katz)
Jefferson (Sidney Kimmel)
Drexel
Brown (Warren Alpert)
Georgetown USM
George Washington USM
Boston University SOM
Tufts
Chicago Med (Rosalind Franklin)
Loyola Stritch
Rush Medical College
NY Medical College
SUNY Downstate
Rutgers RWJ
Dartmouth (Geisel)

Didn't complete 2ndaries for:
CUSM
California Northstate
University Arizona Tecson

This cycle, I've plan to add these DO schools:

California Health Sciences U
Chicago COM
Philadelphia COM
Touro NY
Touo CA
NYIT COM
LECOM
Western

Any suggestions for schools to cut/add would be very much appreciated!

You are competitive for all the DO schools on your list. You could add these DO schools:
AZCOM
TUNCOM
KCU-COM
ATSU-KCOM
DMU-COM
MU-COM
UIWSOM
For MD schools I suggest these:
Vermont
Quinnipiac
Albany
New York Medical College
Seton Hall
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
Penn State
George Washington
Virginia Commonwealth
Eastern Virginia
NOVA MD
TCU-UNT
Creighton
Loyola
Rosalind Franklin
Medical College Wisconsin
Western Michigan
Oakland Beaumont
Wayne State
California University
Loma Linda (if you fit their mission)
UC Davis
UC Irvine
UC Riverside (if you are from that region)
USC Keck

Your current list is aiming a bit too high. My thoughts on your non-UC MD schools:

Brown (Warren Alpert): heavy reach
Georgetown: pretty heavy reach
George Washington: moderate reach
Boston University: very heavy reach
Tufts: moderate reach
SUNY Downstate: huge in-state preference
Rutgers RWJ: huge in-state preference (though I have seen OOS students receive interviews here)
Dartmouth: heavy reach

I'd really suggest only applying to a few of these above schools, and then applying to the list that Faha made.
