Ok here is my situation, I applied to dental school last year for fall '09. Clearly, as evidenced by this post I didn't get in. I submitted AADSAS sometime in late nov. early dec. My breakdown was:
BIO: 20
CHEM:17
ORGO:18
QR: 14 🙁
RC:22
PAT:17
TS & AA: 18
I have a 3.5 overall and sci gpa. I am currently doing my masters in public health and plan to re- apply in june for fall '11. Do i really need to take the DAT over or do I risk applying the 2nd time around with those scores. I have plenty of shadow, volunteer, and work experience in a dental office.
Thank you anyone who takes their time to respond. I'm open to all suggestions and advice.😉

DAT retake is a must..your GPA is only average for a matriculating student..aim for 19+ with all sections above 18 and you'll significantly improve your chances..also, apply as early as possible, preferably when applications open
