I applied this cycle with not much interesting things in my profile. So what would be the options for me to improve my profile ?? Is shadowing, working as DA, or getting involed in research programs (if possible) and doing some volunteer works good enough rather than doing MPH or Dental Hygienist course because of some financial issues?? Thank you.

Hey seems like everyone has the exact same doubt in their minds....do read prev posts with similar questions u will find some answers there...
All I can infer from my experience is that its getting really tough and competitive....most applicants hold a masters, DA certification , research associate positions and many yrs of US based experience so u can tell how tough it is going to be to get called for iv with minimal experience esp US...bt then again we never knw wat part of our app might attract the adcoms so have to keep hoping for the best while prep for the worst.
