Need advice

Hi, people. I need some advice.
My cumulative GPA was 3.72 before my senior fall semester, but my GPA dropped from 3.72 to 3.58 with +/- and without +/- from 3.73 to 3.6 after I did really bad on my final exams few days ago. I got 2.6 this semester. And my science GPA dropped from 3.78 to 3.67.
Should I update my GPA on AADSAS?? Although some schools might require
my GPA, I do not want to look bad since I have only one interview in January at Nova and still waiting for other 17 schools. What would you do if you are in my situation?? My GPA dropped because I was really busy since I had to do many supplemental applications including essays and classes were hard.
Do schools gotta have negative impressions after looking at my senior fall grade?? Should I take my DAT again?? My DAT is AA/TS/PAT= 19/20/17.
Any advice, please.

well you're sort of between a rock and hard place....

If you already had a bunch of interviews lined up then I'd say, don't update.

You dont have many interviews, so that may mean the school are waiting for more info to make their decisions i.e., they are waiting for you to update.

If you dont update then the schools will either think:

1) you have already been accepted somewhere and are "done" with aadsas

2) you did poorly in the fall

3) you are irresponsible

None of these will reflect well on you. You also are in a bad spot with the DAT scores. Your scores are mediocre. To retake the DAT would mean a aadsas update. To update aadsas without also updating GPA would be a dead give away that you slipped up.

That all being said, I would NOT update at this point. I would begin studying my ass off for a DAT retake. Then if you dont get invites come January 20th, I'd hurry and retake/destroy the DAT. THEN send out the new scores directly to the school, without ever doing an aadsas update.

The only thing I would say for sure is that if you send the update now, you're going to mess up the good standing you may already have at many schools. Recent coursework is looked at more closely than in the past and you dont want to put up a 2.6 as your most recent achievement.

I do not know if I am going to retake my DAT in January because I believe I need to improve my reading (I got 16). Studying just one month is not enough for me since I have to study for other sections too. But I believe I am going to retake in February. Do you still think I should retake in January??

my GPA will be less than a 3.0. I messed up big time; dont want the other schools to see it but I think i'm under review bec. they want to see my fall grades. ouch, this hurts!

I am not going to update my AADSAS until Jan 15th because I might get more interview invites after that day. However, If they ask me to update, then I will update and send them a letter explaining why my GPA dropped.
