Need help addressing criminal record questions

I wanted some advice on how to go about reporting an underage drinking charge I received last year. I am currently in a diversion program to have the case dismissed by the end of this year, so I will not have a conviction on my record. Almost every secondary I completed either asked me if I have been convicted of a crime (which I truthfully answered no) or didn't have any questions regarding any convictions/arrests.

I am aware that I still need to report this to medical schools and intend to do so. Does anyone know the best way I should go about this? I was thinking I should call each school and explain the situation to admissions before I send out a full email detailing the incident and how I've grown from it.

No I was arrested by the city police for underage drinking on my college campus. My school knows about it but doesn't take any institutional action against its students for criminal charges like this.

Most of the schools I applied to didn't have a question on their secondary asking about arrests, so how do I go about updating the schools about the charge?

You haven't been convicted, so you can truthfully not answer the prompts.

Hey. I would wait and see what the requirements are for getting your record expunged. If you ca do it in a year or 2 why not wait?

Unfortunately my state doesn't allow me to have it expunged because of some law that doesn't allow case dismissals through diversion programs to qualify for it.
