I'm hoping I can get some opinions from you all...

I just finished a Summer Qt. Gen Chem (my 3rd course) and ended up with a C (9 pts from a B). The professor was horrible (avg on the Final was 57%) and I know I took too many classes while I work full-time at my professional day job.

My plan is to apply all Osteopathic in spring 2011. Should I retake the course next Qt or just go with a C and explain it in interviews? My Science GPA up to this point was a 3.5.

Osteopathic will appreciate the re-take more. If you're taking chem 2, a high grade on it will be able to let you "explain" why you had a low chem 1 grade. Saying a professor is "horrible" will also be tough to say to admissions. You'll have to sugar coat it somehow. Bottom line: if you can re-take, re-take.
