Need help for slow CA board

I submited all information to apply CA pharmacist licensure at 12/8.Still nothing heard from them so far.
They told me the same thing as they told Derek723,they are busy working for backlog and trying to catch up everything the end of this week.
I am really frustrated and tired wating.Any tip for me?Thank you very much

My license number was up on the board's website today!! The board received my check on Monday according to the tracking from USPS. I start working as a pharmacist on Monday! Good luck to everyone! If you havn't gotten your license number yet it should be soon!

Same here. According to USPS, the Board received my application on Tuesday March 25

I have been following your threads about slow CA board, I passed naplex 2 weeks ago and took cpje on 22nd..didnt have a good experience, left the exam very discouraged because i found most questions soo confusing and the drug qstns were very random..I am waiting for my results and its only been 1 week so i havent emailed the board.i wanna wait for 2 weeks to pass. i feel very low about my cpje xam

It is normal feeling.Everybody feels the same way as you after CPJE.I feel depressed after the exam but my score is surprising high.So I say don't worry.If you really study hard,you will pass it without any doubt.
For my case, I got CPJE result after 1 weeks.

I agree. I also felt the same way after taking the CPJE, both times. I didn't get my results for 5 whole weeks though, so I wouldn't bother e-mailing until it has been at least 30 days.

Congrats to all of you whom got licensed!
Its a little unfortunate for me I took it 2 times and failed. I took it the 3rd time recently and am not too optimistic about it either. It is so random I really don't know how to study for it. Thanks for your helpful tips posted on this blog. I will definitely take some of your advice if I need to study for it for the 4th time.🙁
This exam is a complete mental torture for me. I used to be a very good student and this exam has totally broken me down. Thanks for letting me vent. I hope I will have good new to tell you guys.

I just recieved my results, i got 74...i cant believe i missed the pass by 1 point, its a very sad day for me.what did you get the first time if you dont mind me asking?i am thinking of asking for a regrade what do you all think about it? is it worth it?its exactly 3 weeks today since i took my cpje

I got a 73. Almost 4 weeks.. still nothing. I studied the same material I studied the first time i took the exam.

Just took my test today 4/26/08, looks like we might be in for another long wait!! sigh......i'm starting to think that I'm destine to not become a pharmacist in california since I caught the train the first time i took the cpje last year when they switched the testing company and now with the second re-take of exam, I'm caught in the same situation. sorry, I barely just notice your post today. i reply to your message on my thread. But since you're taking it tomorrow. my advice is just to be confident. nobody ever feels ready for this test....I certainly didn't feel ready! and as a matter of fact, I couldn't even sleep the night before. But really, I'm sure the others will agree with me. relax, know that you already prep the best you can and go in and asnwer the best you can!! good luck tomorrow

Hello giotto, sorry to bother you. I am in the same boat. I called the board and they said that we'll just have to wait. I was too shocked and devastated that I think I just hung up on her. What would you do with the 3 1/2 months of waiting? I don't know what to do now. Should I just study again? in case...It's so unfair!

Looks like the QA is complete as people are finally getting their results back. I took mine 4/2/08 I just squeezed through with an 80! Good luck everybody.

Thanks vthemis. The main book that I used for studying was the APhA complete review book and Weissmans law book. I also used an old NAPLEX review book. Be sure to know all the answers to the practice questions that the board provides. You'll probably get at least 3 of those questions and up to 10-15 depending on the difficulty of the exam you get... I tailored most of my studying based on what other people who already took the exam "suggested"... that's what probably helped out the most. Send me a PM and I can give you some helpful suggestions. me and my husband are moving out to Califronia, because of my job! and he needs to pass the Naplex and Cpje in california. He's been graduated from pharmacy school 12 years ago, and he is licensed in 2 different states. Any advice and recommendaiton on any study materials that can prepare him for the naplex and Cpje in california? It's very stressful for us that he can't move out there with me till he passes those exams in california🙁 any advice would be appreciate it.
