help to solve these questions

1 The mandiublar condyle is covered with ....

a. Elastic tissue
b. Hyanline
c. Periostium
d. Collagenous tissue

2 If mandibular canine on right side is lost, how does it affect protrusive contacts on the left canine?

3 In protrusive movt of mandible...direction of movt of head on condyle

4 Most common anomaly of maxillary canine?

5 Moving the mandible from maximum ICP to retruded contact position, the following will result:
-increase vertical occlusal dimension
-decrease vertical occlusal dimension
-decrease horizontal overlap
-increase vertical overlap

what is the "compensating occlusal curvature?"

the tmj is a synovial joint covered by fibrous tissue, so i think colagenous tissue should be the answer.its jsut a guess

1)c. Periostium as it is the bone and bone will be covered by periosteum.

3)mandible will move forward and downward.

4)
Most common anomaly of maxillary canine-Impacted canine or palatally displaced canine (PDC)

5)-increase vertical occlusal dimension

for 5) wouldn't retruding the mandible increase horizontal overlap (aka "overjet") ?

what is the "compensating occlusal curvature?"

is it curve of spee????? 😕

correction:

Compensating Occlusal Curvature - the three dimensional curvature of the occlusal

plane, which is the combination of the curve of Spee and the Curve of Wilson.

Synonym - Sphere of Monson This curvature is concave for the mandibular arch and

convex for the maxillary arch
