Hi everyone,

I have been working as a volunteer in private dental clinic since few mnths. I go there few days in the mnth. As christmas is coming I was thinking shd I give a gift just to show my appreciation to the dentist (who is american ).

I was thinking abt taking something to eat for the whole staff who works there.

I don't know shd I give something separate to the dentist? Please everyone give me your views shd I do this or No.

I think the food idea will be more than enough. They will even like you more if they knew that you made something for them yourself (home baked cookies, or some sort of ethnic dish showcasing your native culture).

I do not think you should give the dentist a separate gift. The best gift you can possibly give him/her, is to appreciate the office staff in such a thoughtful way. This is a very nice gesture on your part, and will make everyone appreciate you in a new way.

The food idea is a good one...everyone will enjoy it.
Prbly when u leave the clinic...you can give something nice to the dentist.
Thats what I did. I observed at a clinic for sometime and when I left, I gave the dentists a hand painted marble elephant which I had bought from India.
They loved it!!I also gave them a Thank you card.
