Hi I am a UCSD graduate and I need help making a list of pharmacy schools to apply to. My GPA is 3.1, my PCAT score is 97% and I have average extracurriculars. I know which California schools that I want to apply to, but I need some assistance on the out of state schools.

I am planning on applying to the out of state schools that accept a decent amount of out of state students, but I need help narrowing the list down further. This still leaves me with a lot of schools to look at and I was wondering if anyone had some recommendations or suggestions on how to further narrow down my list.

Some other factors that I am considering are:
-The cost of tuition, but I am willing to pay more if I can get a good education from an established school.
-Location. I would prefer schools in or around the city, but again, I am willing to go to an established school even if the location is not ideal.
-I am also leaning more towards hospital/business side of pharmacy over community or managed care.

Thank you for your time and help!

You'll get into almost any out of state schools with that pcat. Maryland has lots of Cali students and out of states. Plus you can get in state tuition after first year. Chicago Midwestern and university of Chicago too. Midwestern Arizona is popular. Colorado has many Cali students as well. Plus you get in state.

Minnesota has a a decent amount of out if states as well. Maybe 15% Cali. Most out of states are cheaper than Cali even if you're paying out of state tuition.

My tip is don't apply to schools in cities that you don't want to live in.
You don't need to worry about not getting into out of state schools. You'll get into all of them if you applied to them all and can strike a decent conversation.
