Need help on improving TFE and keyholes-suggestions please!!

Hey everyone

So I've been studying for then DAT since jan and recently began doing keyholes and TFE. The other pat sections are fine or manageable but these last two are TERRIBLE for me. I've been using bootcamp tests for these two sections along with the others but I feel so lost. I have no idea what's going on or how to approach these problems and I hardly get any right. I've only worked on these sections for about a week, but I really need to improve this section. Does anyone have any suggestions or resources? Is bootcamp good enough? If I do decide to get CRACKDAT would the smallest package be fine? Although I already spent a ton of money, so in trying to avoid it. Any suggestions, tips, videos? Anything helps.

Nope. TFE is impossible. Fortunately, TFE on the DAT is easier than any practice test you will take. Good luck!!!

I dont agree with the guy above. Its not impossible at all. I was so confused of tfe and keyholes when i first started studying but it really comes down to practice and practice. Cdp is great for starting out and is almost as close to the real thing. However, if you want to do well you should know everything in BC. Its a little harder but u need it to be hard to do well

Stick with Bootcamp and use the generators for TFE. Keyholes are much easier in the real test, so just prepare as much as you can. Also take an actual practice test from 2007 and 2009 to see its difficulties. For both, you should be using elimination method. Ari talks about it in his tutorial. You also need to visualize it in your head, it makes a difference.

I believe they are currently working on the TFE generators. When logged into BC, if you click the question mark at the bottom right-hand corner of your screen, click the post titled "Happy Holidays" and then click the "sneak peek" link it'll take you to a TFE generator page that they're working on. Hope this helps.

Crack DAT PAT was an awesome resource for my DAT prep. I was mostly practicing with Bootcamp, but after using CDP my Bootcamp scores shot up. In fact the actual DAt itself was no problem, if you can handle what Crack DAT PAT throws at you, then you will definitely be ready for the exam itself.
